Uniswap typically dominates DEX volume on the chains where it operates, though there are exceptions. On @base, for example, @uniswap led with 87% of the volume back in March. However, @aerodrome now leads with 56% of the volume. In contrast, when looking at the market share by addresses, Uniswap still holds a significant advantage, with 93% of active DEX addresses on Base. Moreover, Base accounts for 80% of Uniswap's active addresses, making Uniswap one of the primary beneficiaries among DEXs of the new users onboarded by Base.
