This week on Base, @iamlosi and I were honored to be recognized by the Base team and selected for the OnChain registry for our anthem, 'Stay Based,' created for OnChain Summer.
As music artists, we aimed to hype up the Base community, especially music lovers, and encourage them to Build on Base. Here's what we've accomplished:
🔵 Over 5.7K mints on Zora
🔵 Accepted onto the Base OnChain Registry
🔵 Partnered with @sansoundnd to launch a remix competition for 'Stay Based' (winner gets Umi SanWear)
🔵 Locked in established producers like Gritbeat, PaulPoint, Gragragrande and Yoshiro for the remix competition
What’s next:
🔵 Attract more music talent with funding for the remix prize pool
🔵 Award prizes to the top 3 winners
🔵 Mint remixes with splits (50/25/25) between the remix artist, Losi, and me. For many, this will be their first mint on Base!
This is our last big push to Build on Base and onboard fresh talent. We’re excited! 👀 👇 👇 👇
