Not really a matcha lover but these pics in my feed make me feel like I'd like to try one. What does it really taste like?

Earthy with a very subtle hint of sweetness.

If you're apprehensive you can look for deserts or pastries with matcha and see how you like it; just mentally subtract any sugar from the food to get a better sense of what to expect!

😆 in your defense grass is not an appealing way to describe a flavor. But that's also the common comparison. I chewed on grass as a kid and it I'll never forget because of the lingering gross aftertaste.

Truthfully it's quite unique and I think that's why people have a hard time describing the taste.

I know I'm being judgemental and unfair to unlike it without even tasting it just because other people say it tastes like grass. But I don't ever know what grass tastes like. So maybe I gotta give it a try
