If it was your first day on farcaster. How would you spend it?

you’re lucky, it’s much more alive and fun than it was 2 years ago when i first fell in love with farcaster. my tips:

replies >>> everything else
focus on channels, not followers or likes
build something (frame, pod, art)
meet people IRL (+ initiate it)
make it a habit
be curious

Steve. Hope to link my farcaster to ENS?? Or have I missed that boat??

The boat is always open! I believe the steps are

User settings > Connected addresses

Connect as many addresses as you’d like. Whichever ones have an ENS set to them can be used as your username in the Edit Profile section

Do I have to sign a txn from the wallet which contains the ENS?

Or would I edit my ens text record to contain my farcaster link?

The former, though from each address with a resolving ENS name.

I have two connected addresses:
- hot.sdv.eth
- sdv.eth

The second holds various ENS names that I own but I only use sdv and that subdomain.

Though I don’t know if subdomains are supported as farcaster names; haven’t seen them used by others.
