What are the best teaching related AI tools and research?

Self directed learning with AI is already quite powerful. I’m looking to see what specialized tools there are on this front. 

Im also curious about AI based methods to assess proficiency and learning style to inform the best methods of teaching.

If you have an existing collection of documents (PDFs, Markdown files, Google Docs/Slides, websites, mp3s, or YouTube Videos) you can try putting them into Googles recently released NotebookLM.

Doesn’t train on source data but instead analyzes it and helps you sift through it, think really really large context window.

I think it can also output to audio summaries, as a two person deep dive giñes.

I don’t have firsthand experience using it yet but it sounds promising for synthesizing specialized subjects.
