surely there is room for a new vv-dhof-mathcastles-areatech-esque entity to be built in the year of our lord twenty twenty five, given the affordances of low cost high speed transactions on layer two ethereum blockchains

maybe the cost was part of the art. I paid around $500 to deploy my first  serious contract. I remember gas golfing my own derivative over Loot Weekend only to realize I couldn't deploy it for less than $2000. you had to take it more seriously. now it's like setting up a website.

yea i think that’s very valid. also an element to where “fully on-chain” feels a little less valid when it’s not on mainnet. some of the purity lost
