PSA: if your casts are boosted you don’t need to tell us they’re boosted (not interesting), just cast what you want to talk about or share (interesting) and more people will see it

I’m all for folks being excited but I’d rather see them cast about stuff they’re interested in so that I can get to know them instead of just saying “omg I’m boosted” all over my feed with no way to opt out

Muting boost / boosted *should* be the way to opt out and if it’s not working that sounds like a Warpcast bug

Great point, will try that! [still think it’s better for folks to not overthink these things and address boosting directly, would rather that everyone just casts their thoughts and has fun instead of having a meta-convo about distribution all the time]

That’s very fair, especially for anyone who’s been around long enough to have meta conversations week after week. I started letting go of similar sentiments, disappointments in the celebration of mediocrity. I’ve shifted more to “let people enjoy things.*” * as long as they’re not knowingly hurting others

I am bored of these same topic every week convos. I was glad dev day was mostly not that! Since people there read the docs and notion pages being posted 😅 In feed I just curate by who I follow and boosts I am just happy for who is getting boosted and scroll by since it’s always the first post so it’s like the story UI thing I mentally blend out
