How do you reconcile artistic integrity in a market that primarily rewards dubious and shoddy work?

I don’t need to I guess, I think the market tends to reward a lot of worse things. That’s a reality that I dislike but accept. It doesn’t really change how I operate though. I hope that on longer timeframes, the things that are rewarded and recognized are different than what gets rewarded in the immediate.
