Me trying to engage in conversations on Farcaster. 

Can someone tell me the etiquette? I am posting in channels. I am asking questions.

Evergreen Farcaster advice:

1) A good bio goes a long way; it can be a reflection of the people you end up connecting with most.

2) Reply, reply, reply, but naturally. i.e. not in a pestering reply guy kind of way, nor burdeningly generic question like “why do you think that?” but somewhere in between. Shed some insight, ask a question you think others may not know to ask, etc.

3) Interactions are a bit overly financialized right now. Yesterday it was tokens that could be tipped via replies, today it’s a more hidden and passive layer of incentives for engagement, tomorrow who knows what it’ll be. These are permissionless mechanisms made by third party developers, with good intent, but unavoidable due to the nature of crypto.

4) Channels are kinda like subreddits, or one-at-most hashtags even. Feel em out but understand they’re quite ambiguous at the moment.

5) Don't overthink any of it, just post and slowly you’ll find your cozy corner somewhere here.

You've got most of these nailed; I would say just try replying more, especially with people you have some rapport with already and slowly expand out to people in their radius as you may already have some things in common.

Though my fifth tip is probably the most important!
