As a child I got obsessed with learning HTML on Neopets as a form of escapism from my imploding family structure while developing an insecurity of wanting to be liked because my younger brother (rightfully) needed all the attention as he had a procedure that left him with permanent brain damage.

In hindsight I think was indifferent towards Techos and really just wanted something that was dragon-like, in a time before there were Draiks.
