Osinachi consistently challenges social, political, religious, and sexual norms. Drive-by Shooting disrupts the trope of racialized gang violence with intimacy and an act of love. Reframing tragedy as romance, this work grants us space to ask many important questions.

Gm! A Cryptoart Manifesto by @mpeyfuss Focused on decentralization, freedom from intermediaries, creativity over credentials, uplifting over extraction, embracing the weird, and remixing the traditional. Read & add your name to the manifesto: https://t.co/0CzLEBlaED

The experience of finding art often feels detached and impersonal. Filters are limited, and focused on things that do not add value (to me). Collecting is personal. We need better ways to search based on mood, color palette, medium, themes, and artist background. The process of discovery should be intuitive and intentional

Amazing! Love to hear the background to works like this. This one is also a favorite of mine, it captures the ebullience and despair of our space succinctly, with a perfect degree of absurdism to soften the delivery.

Why do many NFTs fall short as works of art? ✔️"Artists" are sometimes marketeers in disguise: hype drives sales, rewarding self-promotion over craft. ✔️Lack of depth: an absence of emotional or conceptual depth leaves works without meaning. ✔️Too much focus on tech: innovation is king, as many are more fluent in code than aesthetics. ✔️Sales over substance: we celebrate sales more than the works themselves, distracting from the greater significance of art.

Rupture by @alcrego This work helps us to peer beyond the static canvas to make manifest the frames and pixels at the heart of the digital. It reminds us that new ways forward can only be found by straying from familiar paths. We must remold both materials and mindsets if we aim to forge something truly new.

"The Rests of Me" is his final self-portrait. Aware he was ill, it captures his essence as he prepared to part from this world. As a close friend said, "He was finishing uploading himself to the blockchain." Long may he live in our memories & on the blockchain! 🚀🌙

"Monsieur Monnaie" features the artist surrounded by animation tools, voxels, cannabis leaves, burning banks, bitcoin & bicycle day pins, a twitter bird, and the Monty Python foot. A zany & eclectic combination of passions that offer a glimpse into the heart of their creator.

A 2020 CoinDesk article insinuated that many NFTs made by women were 'thirst traps' using sexual imagery to make sales. When a portrait by CryptoFinally was mischaracterized as such, Alotta Money created "Thirst Trap" as part of a group protest against the misleading article.

"Alotta Punk" is a CryptoPunk derivative styled after his own profile image, the only punk to possess the rare "bowler hat" and "4 eyes" traits! Acquired by fellow cryptoartist @coldie who has adopted it as his PFP to honor his friend.

"Alotta Smoke" and "7h47 is 411074" are pixelated versions of Alotta Money's Monty-Pythonesque profile image. Embellished with a joint and a drop of acid, these variations of his PFP are fitting given his role as a prominent advocate for the legalization of contraband.

On September 5, 2017, under the pseudonym Olibith, Alotta Money inscribed his first image on the Steemit blockchain. Channeling HR Giger's biomechanical aesthetic, this work alludes to an obsessive drive to create.
