On July 29 of 2020, in a pair of transactions 5 minutes apart, Pak tokenized two nearly identical works called Duplicate.

The first piece showed two rotating figures facing each other with their arms by their sides, while the figures point at each other in the second.

Described as a work created to be destroyed, the two versions of Duplicate were put to auction.

The work that received the highest bid would be preserved, while the other piece would be burned.

The act of burning unlocked a 3rd work that was sent to the collector.

Sui Generis emerged from this conceptual experiment, latin for "of its own kind" or "unique."

In the new work the token description evolved from "We are" to "You are."

This digital phoenix, born from an act of creative destruction, was a perfect blend of the two original works!
