how do you define fast food - would chipotle be considered fast food?

me too, they are getting too into the weeds saying “if it doesn’t have a drive thru it isn’t fast food”

meh, it’s a tiered scale. like it kind of is but it’s not on the taco bell tier

I mean it's the revolutionary system of McDonald's for me. People used to hire a cook to make burgers; McDonald's invented this puzzle system where every person -without any skills- put another part of the burger in a certain order. So it wasn't cooking, but an assembly. It was fast, and it was food 🧉

I’d say yes. Can have a more nuanced debate about fast casual, different types of service, but if pressed would say it’s fast food

Probably takes about the same amount of time from order to getting it as traditional fast food so I’d say yes

I think Chipotle is fast food, ie food that can be prepared quickly to take out.
