correct me if i am wrong here but if i have degen locked (on degen.tips) associated with a wallet that got hacked, my only option is to keep the wallet associated with my warpcast for tipping until the unlock period comes and hope the hacker doesn’t notice a brief influx while i unlock and transfer the degen to my non-hacked wallet? if a more simple solution is possible please let me know, this person has been bleeding me. i don’t want them to get my locked degen, let alone my $degen tips. any help is appreciated.

sorry you gotta deal with this homie! hope the degen team can help somehow. @cadillion is also a core dev along with Jacek if we tip you now, will you be able to claim safely? or is it still attached to your compromised wallet?

I removed my compromised wallets and moves my ens, so schmrdty.eth and schmidtiest.eth both go to uncompromised wallets. I dont know how my tips are going to work, I know I cant tip anybody because I have no degen locked associated with my warpcast account. My compromised wallet has a fair amount of degen locked for tipping. I think I can be tipped safely. My wife @shylarae.eth can also be tipped safely however though as we don't share devices/wallets.

nice, guess it will depend on how Degen tracks and ultimately assigns the claiming address for a season. I'll tip your wife's account for now just to be safe! hopefully Jacek or Colton can provide some clarity and assistance on getting your locked degen back

I believe if you add another wallet to your farcaster id, the most recently added address is the one whitelisted on claim day. Just to be safe, you can remove the compromised wallet a few days before the end of the season, and readd the wallet when the new season begins. Unfortunately, you will have to pay attention when your lock expires on LDEGEN and hope that the attacker is not paying attention to that contract. Though if the attacker just got you to sign a bad transaction, you can remove all permissions at revoke.cash If the attacker compromised your private key, then I'm afraid they have complete control

yeah they got two sets of keys due to me downloading corrupted software. so i should be able to safely re-add my corrupted wallet to warpcast for sending tips?
