Vote no on a company taking over the Farcaster brand name. If you agree make some noise seems like the door is closing. Is the naming perfect? no, but that’s a Warpcast issue. This reminds me of Microsoft trying to hijack HTML. Embrace, Extend, Extinguish was an internal strategy documented that leaked. How did that turn out? At least dwr is open about the strategy which I believe will hurt the ecosystem over the mid & longer term. Dictatorships are en vogue 🤷🏻♂️😭. A few of us have been pushing for decentralized protocol governance for a long time. THIS is why!!

Funny story- i started a fabric campaign last year to try to help with that called “sufficiently decentralized for now” which was a complete flop. Shortly after that i got shadow banned, which eventually got briefly overturned before i got marked as Spam. I definitely don’t think warpcast should rebrand/name though… maybe just hire another a person or two to be the acting “support team”. V & DWR can keep doing what they’ve been doing, but all of Warpcast would be better off imo
