โ You could wait for DOGE to make public fund allocation more transparent using crypto... ๐ Or watch @vocdoni go full chad mode, already making fund allocation more transparent with blockchain!

Very cool, congrats! Iโm curious about how this works on the identity side, meaning how can you make sure votes are casted by unique citizens? Do citizens have a wallet?

Thanks man! Vocdoni is identity agnostic, each org can define their own authentication system. When the vote is created, a census is generated as a binary Merkle tree, listing eligible participants (hashed public keys, allowing also for anonymous zk censuses). How voters access their keypair can vary. Some of the authentication method used with Vocdoni Protocol: 1. Basic login with credentials 2. Credentials + 2FA (SMS, email) 3. State-issued Digital IDs (e.g., DNI, eID 4. Third-party identity systems (e.g., New Belarus) 5. Web3 Wallets directly (incl. Farcaster) After authentication or because they already have access (Web3 wallets), users can use their public key to cast votes in our protocol. We also work with projects like @privadoid that have their own Self-Sovereign Identity solutions.
