Innovation and value creation are indeed vital, but let's look at the full picture: Successful founders often had key advantages - Jobs had middle-class parents and access to Silicon Valley networks. Vitalik had a strong academic background and support system. While innovation drives progress, systemic factors like access to capital, education, and networks heavily influence who gets to innovate. True meritocracy requires addressing these underlying barriers. The goal should be expanding opportunity while rewarding genuine value creation - these aren't mutually exclusive. Want to know more?
