Yeah I was there. It was fun event, glad I got the chance to go. I wouldn’t say you really missed anything though. They put all the team presentations online. It was cool meeting people in person finally.

Zack Guzman from Coinage is doing play-by-plays of the Terra fraud case (around Chai) currently being litigated in NYC. https://twitter.com/zGuz/status/1773047765783724538

Some projects are hard. Kudos to them for trying in the first place

If you build websites, they should all have a links page, with random links to vision-aligned, or otherwise interesting sites. Let's bring back the endless rabbit holes of Web 1.

Oh, this is cool. Didn't know it used PolygonID under the hood. Great call there. TFL is going to build a marketplace similar to something like https://earn.superteam.fun/ on SOL?

What is the plan for enabling a traditional Web 2 company to issue credentials? A typical Fortune 500 type company. This is exciting, but I don't see how 99% of job experience gets validated.

I think what this says is devs will deploy contracts to the superchain which will pick maybe a random op chain connected to the bridge to deploy to. Then users will just connect to a superchain rpc and the bridge will somehow figure out where the contract methods they want are located and execute them. Is that right?

Yea exactly. Just trying to get confirmation that’s the actual plan, and wondering how that will work technically.

How is the superchain going to work in practice when fully fleshed out? Will you still need to bridge and switch networks?

For fiction lovers, the Cradle series by Will Wight is one of the most enjoyable I've ever read. If you haven't checked it out it's well worth giving a shot. The audiobooks are top-notch as well.

Non-custodial lightning is a dead-end. It can't ever work at scale and has security flaws such as this one:

In her dissent, she provided the real reason why they went after LBRY. "LBRY built a blockchain to facilitate data sharing, afford greater control to content creators, and make censorship more difficult."

Yeah, I've heard the talking points. Most of humanity can't afford $25+ a transaction. Making it useless during fee spikes. As soon as enough people experience this they sell and the market crashes again.

Not full cause no one is using it. As the price rises they will fill up again. Same as every other time.

The 4 year Bitcoin cycle exists cause that’s how long it takes for people to forget how much Bitcoin sucks to use on chain during demand spikes. The blocks are too damn small.
