Memes don’t need communities. Communities need memes. I’ve always found the idea of one community dedicating themselves to propelling one meme as a reductive idea. Most people will find meaning in and therefore engage and propel multiple memes. Which is why clanker is so interesting. Turn a conversation into a token and just have fun with it. Simple. Clean. Clanker deserves to win.
