Hey! Depends on what you mean by low tech. Are you familiar with basic linux commands on a terminal?

Okay, then you could go with @ethereumonarm (I am using it). 

They use efficient arm boards like the OrangePi or Rock5 boards. They cost around 250$ plus you need a fast M2 SSD.

They provide an Ubuntu image with all clients which are tested on those boards. You just need to enable one client combo.

By low tech I mean easy to setup hardware. I think dappnode has a simple setup device, but they also cost $2k+

I’m somewhat familiar but by no means proficient. I’m comfortable to work in the terminal and competent enough to know when I’m out of my depth and how to look up the right answer
