🗞️ The court dismissed part of the SEC’s charges against Binance and Changpeng Zhao.

A judge has dismissed some of the allegations in the lawsuit filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against the cryptocurrency exchange Binance and its founder, Changpeng Zhao.

Specifically, the court granted Binance and Zhao’s motion to dismiss charges related to secondary sales of BNB and the Simple Earn service.

The SEC’s case concerning the ICO, subsequent BNB sales, BNB Vault, staking services, failure to register, and non-compliance with anti-fraud regulations will continue.

The same applies to Binance US.

A hearing is scheduled for July 9.
