Why has engagement tanked recently?

Even the most-followed users will often have less than 40 likes on casts after 24 hours:

We started getting more aggressive with spam filtering and general dip in DAU.

Maybe you could come up with a mark for those whom the system considers bots, so we can remove them from our friends, and then the problem with likes will solve itself if that’s the reason. What do you think, is this a good idea? 🧐
