📰 The SEC has indeed filed a lawsuit against Consensys. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a lawsuit against Consensys (the developer of MetaMask). The company is accused of “engaging in the offer and sale of securities” as well as “acting as an unregistered broker” through MetaMask. The liquid staking programs Lido and Rocket Pool are also named as securities.
