My north star for my involvement with crypto has always been to help make ETH the most valuable asset in existence and to help ensure that Ethereum becomes the global hub for the onchain economy. Ethereum and ETH are symbiotic - one cannot exist and thrive without the other.

I like the "ETH as digital oil" analogy, where people aren't really getting paid in ETH, but they have a regular habit to buy more on a weekly basis to run all the financial machinery they use in their daily lives, just like how people regularly buy gas for their car, but don't generally buy stuff with it or hoard it.

Hopefully we can keep short term thinking at bay. I’m concerned efforts to maximize short term profit (increased blob fees) will jeopardize blockchain adoption (L2 growth strategy). Unstoppable ETH value will result from real world adoption of the Ethereum network. Cheap fees is a pre requisite for that adoption.
