Hahaha thats a acro paraglide, they are very unstable flying so the pilot has much more reactive canopy! Its almost imposoble that happening to a base jumping parachute if the wind condition isnt bad... On the other side, we dont have reserve parachute for second chances hahaha

🥹 Yes, unfortunately this is exactly what happened to a close friend of mine...a base jumper...wind 🥲 he was hit hard on a rock and flew like a stone down...... and I don't know how he survived at all, I saw a video of his go pro camera...🥲 a few years later he started walking but after that I will only decide to rope jump 😅 although I still look at base jumpers with envy 😁

btw rope jumping is really cool!! we did a 250 meter jump in riglos some years ago! :D

damn... yes that can happen, but in BASE jumping you have to learn to say "NO" when the weather isnt perfect... its not worth adding risk to something thats already risky as fuck hahaha Glad he survided... whats his/her feed on IG? I might know them! :D
