the past couple weeks a journalist @mazmhussain earned ~$2k on farcaster - via moxie, without a big following - by casting great content. This is the way. His fans participated in 20% of his earnings. This is the way. It happened on farcaster without @dwr.eth or @v having anything to do with it. Because @moxie.eth is a protocol on top of the farcaster protocol. This is the way @rainbow @supercast @moxiescout and dozens others enhanced it - permissionlessly. This is the way. The moxie rewards and the fan tokens are on the @base blockchain but @jessepollak and team had nothing to do with it, because it’s protocols on top of protocols. This is the way. The technology is enabled by ethereum EVM smart contracts but @vitalik.eth has nothing to do with it. This is the way. The new internet is darn cool.

false. they literally altered spam filtering strategies to accommodate you over other protocols. example: (would be annoying to dig up the cast but ill do it if i got to), dwr told deployer that his ham tipping embedded within a cast will now be grounds for nerfing (or whatever the languange i cant keep up with all this legalistic stuff that now is an issue...), and that instead he should advocate for cast action use. can you please explain that? seems like yall just have some kind of inside preferential arrangement, but please prove me wrong

that cast is worth a glance. if you can tell me a bit about it, I can try to find it tomorrow.

what im looking for is when deployer asked concerndly about the impact on the like button tipping mechanism and dan told him it is risky now in some cases and could lead to banning. in other words, fuck you and your shit in favor of moxie. basically lol

had time to read the thread and, afaict, Dan comments are /not/ about the Like mechanism and not specific to TN tipping. He's describing the consequences of casting shallow content repetitiously. This includes shallow, repetitious: gn, gm, $degen, 🍖, hi king, lol, check my stats, etc etc etc. If it's brief and you're casting it a lot, it's spam by definition and will be controlled (in Warpcast). Which makes a LOT more sense, given the context, protocol data, and how Warpcast works.
