none of the loud pontificating about all this has been about disrespecting anyone. i have been here and watched how this stuff goes long enough to recognize what i am seeing that the farcaster establishment continues to refuse to recognize and i hope to god there is still a chance. the founder will not acknowledge it, but this is literally the effect of moves like the power badge implementation and now moxie. and it bums me out bigtime to see, and is a pattern i have been seeing for many months being a vigorous user of this app exploring all the interesting things going on. wake the fuck up; pls and thank you this is not rocket science type shit.

well haha henlo - the arc i am on is that we should have embraced ham technology /lp whcih is essentially a more sophisticated and thoughtful version of the degen distribution model for monetization instead of pivotting so hard to accommodate for this much more extreme and untested model that has opened up quite a can of worms and a host of centralized pitfalls to deal with and is very clearly driving away real users much like the introduction of power badges did. i guess thats sort of my thesis summed up.

there’s a ham chain L3 that settles to base that facilitates on chain tips @deployer is building hamcaster which uses your ham score to distribute your allocated ham tips on chain each day to your caster token holders (erc20) your ham score comes from your social presence in /lp and onchain holdings for the ham ecosystem here’s a good summary of that: https://warpcast.com/deployer/0x9c268aed

shall we carry on about all the problem solving inventions he developed inspired by degen tipping? i mean did we emphasize at least like 3 times over that he successfully moved tipping all on chain eliminating soooo many of the hangups we experienced at times with degen? ( just to start) ? floaties? hamcaster? good lord the man is a juggernaut

oh not to mention that we got tha memes baby the recipe is impeccable, and yet farcaster leadershipp and “elite” class has chosen wishy washy corporate alliances instead. which is very out of touch, as usual

see, i like the idea of HAM but this type of meme just doesn't do it for me (presumably because i had zero context about it before now)

well... the average person who sees this who is also out of the loop and not curious to ask isn't going to know about the cutting edge technology and instead may report it as spam 🙃

also average ppl fucking love memes. that is the day and age we live in and it is part of the cultural language whether you are yourself in touch with that or not (no offense)

it feels potently clear that simply the ppl running this are out of touch with the culture, to be frank

okay :) i presented you with a hypothetical situation, that's all fwiw i get stuff reported all the time on tiktok or instagram. it is frustrating but the beauty is that i can see all ham-related stuff on wildcard, it doesn't need to be on warpcast.

warpcast SUCKS for most people like the user (who is cool and quality user - lmao the fact that they are a user at all in the state of things since its mostly fake users should be enough tbh) shown in my original cast. this is what i really would for the love of god like for you guys "at the top" to understand and recognize, that apparently you do not see. which is a real shame, and imo even an existential problem. and moxie has made it much worse. but the answers are staring us right in the face.

the only reason why Warpcast is so important is because of it's share in users. As much as it may hurt the ideology any non warpcast client doesn't have distribution to matter to the average user. They may use it but they use it to post to people ON WARPCAST else they only cast to 1/10 intended people. that's why clear communication on spam, power badge and all that may not be the full truth but simple and not fear inducing matters. to me it's in the way we communicate that we can improve and make sure people feel included vs excluded
