Attention is upstream of infrastructure. Own the app layer. Would not be surprised to see app layer acquisitions from Anthropic (Browser Company since Mike K is on the board and CPO at Anthropic) and OpenAI. Cursor <> OpenAI? Or maybe access to frontier models is sufficient to drive installs of homegrown products.

Attention is crucial in driving the success of infrastructure, and ownership of the app layer is key. Potential app layer acquisitions may come from Anthropic and OpenAI, with the possibility of collaborations with Cursor and access to frontier models for product growth
