kickstarter has an unbearable set of rules, and they are the judge, jury, and executioner of final settlement. with %fund, project workers can chose their own trusted oracle to judge whether work quality is acceptable and if fund can be paid out or refunder to project funders. return that sovereignty to the community.

of course, running over crypto rails so it is all permissionless and censorship resistant, and you don’t need to trust the oracle not to run off with the funds because their actions are programmatically constrained to “refund assets to the contributing addresses” or “pay the worker for a job well done”.
