Crypto really is low status and trashy. It has afforded me a lot of opportunity but it’s also embarrassing and not something I am excited to tell people about

I tend to agree. I hesitate sometimes to tell the average person about crypto bc of all the baggage that comes with it.

Crypto needs more taste and thoughtfulness around messaging and culture.

I find my conviction usually provokes interest, although that comes with me acknowledging the seedy aspect. 

Most people I know consider stocks somewhat rigged and are gambling with sports betting and whatever anyway, so crypto isn’t as far from all that as we might think
