A funny story about ‘Feel Your Ghost’ - the Tiësto & Mathame song with my vocals/lyrics 👇🏼 

I actually did these vocals as part of a sample pack that I was hired to do by a company who licenses packs on Splice (a huge sample library that producers use to make most of the music you hear). 

One day I got a message from someone saying they heard my song with Tiësto- to which I replied, ‘I don’t have a song out with Tiësto’ 🤔 and then they sent me the link. 

Sure enough the entire song featured my vocals! 

25 million streams later and it’s Mathame’s biggest song! 

Before you ask- no I do not get any royalties 😂

Super interesting, so did they give you a sheet with a bunch of random phrases to sing out or what?

Then, what, do people scroll through and listen to thousands of sung phrases until they find something that matches the tone of the piece they're working on?
