I babysat for 15 years, starting with my 8 year old. I walked them, fed them, put them to bed. What about my parents? My dad didn't need it, he went fishing with his friends and either slept or watched TV. Mom was “busy” too, sitting on the internet, helping me, but mostly the kids were thrown on me. I grew up and realized I don't want my own kids. My eye starts to twitch when there's a baby yelling somewhere. I have absolutely no idea what to do when they yell, roar, what they want from me. Until the age of three you have to jump in front of them, and then more or less they begin to talk, entertain themselves, but still keep an eye on them. When I think back, I shudder with horror.....
