Following Twitter and Facebook’s footsteps, Instagram or any photo sharing application will soon be able to charge a good premium for posting non-AI content. Consumers could also be charged a small fee for curated non-AI feeds. Verified human and verified bot will have exclusive indication and pricing.

Question 🙋‍♂️ If a product designer wants to move into designing for Web3 viz. protocols, clients built on protocols etc., what’s the prerequisite for them? How can they excel at understanding problem and technology better? Any thoughts or resources are welcome and appreciated 🙌

hah! Stumbled upon an excellent article on this topic just now! It covers a lot of my thoughts around the topic (I'll write nevertheless) https://medium.com/@nkrishnan92/how-to-make-friends-2-0-f49b33a85277

Interesting take on a rather hot topic these days. I see bunch of adults speaking about this. I do have some takes on this topic that don't fit the "tech-as-a-solution" to this. Will drop a line whenever I get time. P.s. Say hello to Shannon 👋😄

Info icon & overlay can be easily ignored, defeating the purpose. What might help is upfront help-links with excellent copywriting. Example, Worried about your data? Learn about our privacy policy. Overlays have proven problematic in the past. So, I would give it a 2nd thought. https://ddg.gg/?q=nngroup+%2B+overlay

Well said, Cameron. Compounding works! Wrote a draft a few days back which feels like an extension to this topic :) https://i.imgur.com/9xe0ZSJ.jpg

I would eventually accept that all records are public and seeing my transactions on chain anywhere on the internet would be very common. However, if you’re targeting the new audience, that brief period of onboarding is important to help them trust the site and ad. 2/2

As someone very new to Web3, seeing my name seems okay and acceptable. BUT, despite the public first nature of blockchain, it was scary to read the second ad that has so many details up front. It would work if the OG site that I trust shows this under my profile. But seeing this in ad, makes me feel insecure. 1/2

Welcome! To get over the FOMO of linking, I sometime re-read my note and add new links or connect to existing ones later on. Few obvious ones come naturally when you type. Rest can come to you when you post-read aka analyse your writing. Good luck! Eager to see how you build your system :)

TL;DR Don’t think much. Keep it simple. Keep writing. Link when you feel it’s right (it’s free; so be generous). Enjoy the eventual outcome you will build without realising. I don’t think there is a right or wrong way to use Obsidian :) Hope it helps! 🍻 4/4

This linking helped a lot in finding this that I at times collected without thinking much. Say a quote or a suggestion from other DesignOps. If I hadn’t linked, I may not have found this. It’s also immensely helpful to build cross-topic relations. I find ideas to implement from random topics and conversations 3/n

Over the last few months, I naturally started linking notes to the topic. Example, DesignOps is a central topic for my work and I consume bunch of resources around it. Eventually, I found more sub-categories like blog ideas, achievements, problems to tackle and potential solutions. 2/n

In the same boat. Fairly new to non-linear writing & come from a well-organised workspace ethic. I tried following the best practices as recommended by Andy Matuschak, Maggie Appleton, & a few more. But, I felt overwhelmed and frustrated. I gave up and simply decided to follow Today’s Note to type everything. 1/n

Another one (unrelated to Recast). We could refine the spacing on this screen. Please do let me know if you would rather have this reported somewhere else :) https://i.imgur.com/lc899sa.jpg
