I don’t understand his reasoning at all. He has enough to buy nicer clothes and say yes to a ski trip. Thanks to what? Crypto, right? Which means crypto gave him financial freedom.

So why didn’t he use that freedom to actually learn about fields that truly interest him? I think it’s because he’s not really passionate about anything. He’s comparing his journey to others’, and that’s already the wrong approach.

Is he truly passionate, or does he just want to do what others are doing so he can say impressive things at dinners and not feel inferior?

When crypto gives you the freedom to do whatever you want, and you choose to buy clothes and go skiing, it’s honestly shameful to insult an entire ecosystem when the real problem is how you manage your time and money.
