If we want to start something anew, let's not start by closing a chapter. Because if we don't deal with what was there... we don't analyze... then instead of progress we will have regression and the new will soon start to resemble the old. 

I am not in favor of resetting the past. I am a supporter of closing certain stages with understanding and humility and learning what changes I want. Reset won't do much if you leave the raging demons behind.
