In 2019, Italian artist Salvatore Garau sold an invisible sculpture called "Io Sono" (I Am) for 15,000 euros. Yes, you read that right—there was nothing there. No stone, no metal, no physical object. Just an idea. Garau claimed the sculpture was made of “pure energy” and existed only in the viewer’s imagination. The buyer received a certificate and was instructed to display it in a 150×150 cm empty space. People were divided—some called it genius, others called it a joke. But one thing is clear: In the world of art, sometimes the idea is more valuable than what’s seen.
