what's the value to bringing TikTok on-chain? their current model is "social commerce" where they take a % of marketplace transaction, plus Ads.

I guess it depends who acquires them and what the plan is … If someone buys them, tokenizes it, and takes the videos onchain it might work for tokenization? but it would probably kill the model they have built around the TikTok Shop marketplace

I think that with this happening, a big revolution will happen in TikTok, young investors will definitely invest a lot of money in TikTok brands, if a team can manage this potential, it will be a great opportunity

yes whoever buys TikTok (US Gov forcing sale in a month) can make a fortune off of it long term!
