What’s the best image upload solution?

Need upload an image from Typescript backend and have it be available for 1 week. And accessible via shared link (no need for access control on link). Then auto deleted after.

S3 or similar object store is your best bet IMO. You can use something like imgur but it's gonna cost a ton compared to S3

I assume any s3 compatible solution implements file expiry to be specified on upload?

You would have to confirm with specific providers but most should AFAIK
