why the hooks / use pattern to wrap the framesSDK? doesn't useSDK -> get sdk and do sdk.actions make it easier to crossreference samples / docs?

IMO what MiniKit offers is a layer of abstraction that makes it easier to: - use sdk functions that will work/gracefully fallback both across Warpcast and Coinbase Wallet - set up certain things like domain account association and notifications that usually take a bit of time - use all of the other benefits OnchainKit gives you for building a frame

I get 2,3 I am confused on 1) so Coinbase Wallet Frames is not equivalent to Warpcast Farcaster Frames?

to avoid confusion, we're building on frames(soon to be mini apps) just like warpcast/farcaster is -- there's no new spec or anything like that. to clarify that first point: - both clients might handle things like deeplinks differently - there are a few small things we're working through so there are no limitations for devs to build frames/mini apps that show up in both clients, the main limitation is listed below from the minikit docs

yep. I don't have high hoped for that interoperability unless it's mainly frames SDK honestly since I haven't seen interop with links etc work well before. Would love for that to change though

@dylsteck.eth so for devs building miniapps that want them to work flawlessly in coinbase wallet, but don't want to introduce authkit, if we wait a couple months for cbw updates, a vanilla framesv2 sdk miniapp will work flawlessly inside cbw?

thats the expectation though relies on Merkle & Base coordination to finalise and get implemented everywhere (most likely by then it's Farcaster Connect)

For users accessing a framesv2 miniapps on the web, outside of warpcast/cbw, its frictionful to be told to sign in with fc or go download warpcast to create an account. For dapps that want to be excellent miniapps and remain accessible on the web to people without an fc account be: auto fc connect in miniapp contexts and wallet connect/window.ethereum everywhere else (ie the web browser)
