Farcaster lego's explained Composer action -> launch Mini App -> get back new post Mini App - do whatever within warpcast and maybe new post or just close Cast Action -> Launch Frame (or get info in text message) Frame - do whatever with gameboy style 4 buttons, one display and an input field Bot - reply to some casts with whatever text or embed (image, frame, link, video ....) you want App - an application using Farcaster Data like the Social Graph (following, user data) and posts Direct Messages - direct message someone on Warpcast (not Farcaster generic yet)

Good question Client: wants you to spend all time in their app. Your main place to consume. Think TikTok, Instagram Reels, Yourube Shorts, Facebook Reels, Drakula All compete for your time consuming short form videos Warpcast, Twitter, mastodon, bluesky all compete for your time consuming short form text

interesting, I actually think that in Farcaster we can have a softer definition for a client (in web2 the api's are closed so clients are very monolithic). Every app that let's you write to the social graph and has Faracster authentication can be considered a client, but it doesn't have to be a Farcaster sole app. You have a prediction markets app with some FC data and write capabilities? client!
