I try to do it day by day. So some no calendar event deep code days and biz dev days when there are meetings etc

Set your calendly to the times you want meetings and only take exceptions if it’s truely urgent.

that's actually a good idea, i started doing something similar but with mornings (dev) and afternoons (meetings) but then lost control of things
