There's a clear opportunity for an open source Farcaster mobile client that does one thing really well: a reverse chronological feed. 1. Sign in with Farcaster (auth only to start) 2. Show me the feed of people I follow 3. Ability to view threads and profiles. Nothing else.

To be clear: I don't think this is venture-scale business today and not likley a business at all. More of an opportunity to build a super-focused product that gets users. An opportunity to show off product design and building skills.

What venture-scale businesses do you think could be built on Farcaster today? (Excluding ones already in existence)

There are apps that have raised money, but I don't see any business on Farcaster today that could use current addressable DAU to raise another round. Too small.

Makes sense Perhaps the network is currently a good size for angel>seed traction & validation of MVP, with a clear path to grow into other networks

There are a few things I've considered before landing on my current project @ornamental One thing: I'd pay for a service that would make it easier to trigger onchain actions on Base / Zora based on Farcaster protocol events, i.e. cast text, likes, etc.

Like a wallet managed by your Farcaster? Zora mint with warps is 😍 But something like: pay Jacob 10 USDC on base? And then ist just gets done?

Exactly, so an FID / social wallet that can be preloaded with funds and triggered by actions on any client
