1) App vs File is more a thought pattern of how interopable is it? does the user get control? How do you sync it? Since File types are also not all that open, but way more over time then APIs. e.g. see early .txt files or markdown right now 2) the highly technical thought patterns discussed fasinated me 3) the crypto discussion goes into the speculation and what's also built that people dismiss, great to hear from a non crypto PoV talking to devs
