no it has nothing to cling to when it's new so it may produce something that works after a few times but if you know what you're doing you'll see how often it's primitive slop

on one hand i am relieved because at least it will stop non-pro devs to code in our place, on the other hand it disappoints me because i kinda hoped the Composer would shine in a "blank slate" situation

So the problem is how you start.
A fresh start is more challenging for cursor than updating an already "mature" project
I started believing I was going crazy while others praise cursor and me having problem after problem
