what's the best way to start storing content on arweave in javascript? ideally either metadata like how @paragraph stores articles to begin with, but would def be interested in storing images/files as well

cc @fllstck knows better, but I'd assume https://github.com/ArweaveTeam/arweave-js?tab=readme-ov-file#installation

There is the Turbo SDK, which allows to pay for uploads in fiat. https://ardrive.io/turbo-bundler/ And the Irys SDK, which allows to pay for uploads in popular tokens, even stables. https://docs.irys.xyz/developer-docs/irys-sdk

Yes, understandable. I'm cautious , but trying to be neutral 🙃

yeah that whole debacle left a sour tase with me. The Arweave-team repo's at least are forkable so one just adjusts bundler + gateway URL and is fine in future disputes.

I hope Lightseed takes off, so we can one day upload without a central entity 🧐
