How are cast actions doing?

What's the plan with them? Will the POST Message -> Message stay around? 

When will they open v2 Frames? If so is there a POST message before or predefined link?

Will we get Cast Actions on direct messages?

am currently working through updating my map of all Farcaster legos and cast actions have no roadmap I am aware of.

Because no one built utility for it

I see them as calls to backend to trigger business logic

I think there’s no great utility for it just because it’s a few extra taps to get to the frame

clanker could’ve been a cast action but I doubt it’d have any success

Saving a cast to notes is not easier as invoking a cast action that auto does it for you or adds it to your CRM including data of the author or creating an issue in a ticket system

What I mean is that it seems like there’s always an easier way to do something than using a cast action

Moxie had it at first but due to the open nature of blockchain you can call the same function without opening warpcast even
