Just upgraded the main board in my Framework 13. Their computers are incredible, feels like a brand new machine and I have had it for years.

How’s battery life during heavy load? MacBook Battery life of the 16 inch M1 with same power as plugged in is what has me addicted

Mine has done surprisingly well although it is pretty much fresh out of the box (7840u, framework 13)

I run chrome with ~13 tabs and 2-4 instances of intellij with a mixture of typescript / rust / solidity projects. My old laptop was a E595 Thinkpad from 2019 that would peak at about 4-6 hours of that kind of load but after a few hours in a cafe here I wasn't close to needing to charge it

I need to test. Right now it's plugged in and I haven't tested the battery life yet.
