Public service announcement, we are not posting to Warpcast. We are all posting to Farcaster. Thank you. Help everyone be precise in language please :) thank you. Socials via protocol are new, so we need to make sure language is precise from the get go. thank you, monthly reminder sent from supercast.

I always am confused on this. FC is the protocol and WC is the app, right? WC runs on hubs not fully decentralized yet. So how are we posting to the protocol if our content is on the hubs? Genuine curiosity.

Farcaster is the protocol. It is composed of Hubs. These Hubs store the protocol data (content) What is not stored on Hubs is not in protocol. Though some data is stored on the blockchain like your FID registration and storage. Warpcast uses their own Hubs to post what is on protocol to their Hubs and this syncs across the network of hubs. This is Farcaster. The app you may elect to use to do the post to hubs for you and display that data is Warpcast, Supercast, Recaster or any other client

It’s the third paragraph that I stumble with. Channels are content, but they are not part of the protocol. Where is channel content?
