🚨 Our 2025 @esports proposal is now live for voting! 🚨 I wanted to take a second to reflect on what we built this year with nouns.gg and share what we’re hoping to do next year. Here’s a quick recap 👇 https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/698

We started the year with the question: How can we give the most engaged fans in our community the ability to govern who and what we fund—especially if they don't know much about crypto? So, we launched nouns.gg in June, introducing Rounds as our flagship feature. https://warpcast.com/esports/0x258b9b7a

Inspired by Prop House, Rounds let users submit proposals and vote on how funding is allocated—for events, rosters, and more. Since launch, we’ve distributed $50,000 across 36 Rounds with over 6,000 participants.

We soon realized we needed a better way to determine who gets the most votes, so we launched the Nexus (completive ranking system) and Quests. Now, users earn XP for contributing—joining calls, completing quests, etc.—and their rank reflects their impact. https://warpcast.com/esports/0xa29e4b18

With the new ranking system, nouns.gg started feeling like a competitive game. For gamers, earning XP and leveling up is second nature, and it’s how we made governance fun. Proposers are also doing more than submitting props—they’re rallying their communities to join Nouns, vote, and become active contributors.

For 2025, we're focused on 1️⃣ Integrating nouns.gg more deeply with our IRL events 2️⃣ Scaling Rounds even further—more ways to earn XP 3️⃣ Build onchain features to onboard users and get them active on @base
