What do we think of YouTub(YT)  revenue sharing based on the coining of videos/shorts? 

Based on YT metrics, the revenue is split for each video. For coin holders of that video, revenue is distributed based on the percentage of coin held. 

Cost of coining is very low and funds go to the channel owner(s). Coin holders are incentivized to share the video based on revenue sharing.

The problem would be that the metrics aren’t onchain so there’s no permissionless way of distributing the coins. Sounds like an interesting app/startup idea tho if it was built specifically for onchain like this

You could but then you have to trust YouTube or whoever is writing the metrics to the chain

No way to use YouTube API to write the metrics to the chain? Maybe I'm oversimplifying
